EXPOSED CONCRETE / WASHED AGGREGATE

To achieve this concrete finish the surface is washed, removing the cement slurry on top to reveal the concrete stone structure. This allows the various coloured stones to be revealed depending on the stone concrete mix you choose. Colour can also be added to the concrete for enhanced background affect. Washed aggregate is designed for exterior purposes as the surface is textured and has more grip. Sealing enhances the stones sparkle and protects from staining. You can choose from Light exposure – taking 1-2mm off the surface, great for footpaths or outdoor areas. Or, Heavy exposure taking 3-5mm off the surface, good for driveways or areas requiring more grip.

HONED FINISH

The concrete undergoes a deep grind, in a similar process to polished concrete, however it is only ground once. When it is sealed, honed concrete gives a smooth appearance of a polished concrete floor, but the tactile finish provides superior grip. This process can be complimented by adding coloured concrete, coloured stones, glass etc. Ideal for interior or exterior areas.
HIGH POLISHED CONCRETE is a more labour intensive process and the end product depends on the degrees of grinding, buffing and sealing to create a semi to ultra smooth finish. Mirror like finishes are possible depending on your needs and budget. Not recommended for outdoor.

LIQUID LIMESTONE

Is a reconstituted limestone and cream cement based product that be finished in different styles. Liquid Limestone is available in a natural style or can be combined with other aggregates such as quartz, oxides or pea gravel to further enhance both its look and feel. Liquid limestone can be further complemented with inlays, borders and adjacent areas composed of marble or granite, stones or pebbles, timber and other natural materials. It is cool underfoot and a very popular exterior choice.

COLOURED CONCRETE

Gone are the days of black, green, brown or red concrete. Today you can choose from a range of over 60 colours, depending on your budget. The coloured oxide is added to the concrete mix and poured and can be added to plain concrete, washed aggregate, polished or liquid limestone. Once sealed the colour stays vibrant for years to come.
